Shipyard Manager

About the Role

Cleopatra Marina S.A., a member of the Tefas Group of Companies and a leading force in the field of marine tourism in Greece, is seeking to hire a Shipyard Manager for its facilities located in Aktio-Vonitsa, as part of its ongoing business expansion.

Main Responsibilities:

• Record, implement, and allocate the daily work schedule among work teams.
• Monitor and perform quality control of daily operations.
• Maintain direct communication and collaboration with team leaders.
• Plan, optimize, and coordinate vessel movement schedules (travel lift, Clark forklifts, cranes, etc.).
• Coordinate vessel launching and hauling operations in the dock area.
• Ensure proper maintenance of mechanical equipment (travel lift, Clark forklifts, cranes, etc.) in cooperation with the Maintenance Department.
• Oversee the safe setup and blocking of vessels in the shipyard area.
• Prepare reports for Management.
• Read and interpret drawings (general arrangements, yacht docking plans, etc.).
• Supervise and manage the safe access to vessels.
• Ensure contractors and external teams comply with the organization’s operational rules.

Required Qualifications:

• University or Technical Institute graduate (preferably in Engineering, Production, or Management disciplines).
• Excellent command of English (C1–C2 level).
• Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with technology.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in field team coordination/management (ideally of >10 people) or site management.
• Experience in project management.
• Previous experience in a Shipyard, Marina, or Shipping company (will be considered an asset).
• Ability to read and understand drawings (general arrangement, yacht docking plan, etc.).
