Do I need to book technical services in advance?
Yes, technical services can be inquired by email or through the marina’s website inquiry form.
Can I bring my own technician or contractor?
Yes, please make sure to prior contact the Marina reception, in order to fill the request form and receive an access card.
How can I book a berth at the marina?
Berths can be booked by phone, email, or through the marina’s website. Early booking is recommended, especially during peak summer months.
Are there long-term berthing and storage options?
Yes, both short-term and long-term berthing are available. Extensive onshore storage (dry dock) is also provided for winterization or repairs.
Where is Cleopatra Marina located?
Cleopatra Marina is situated in Aktio, opposite the town of Preveza, at the entrance of the Amvrakikos Gulf in western Greece.
How do I get to Cleopatra Marina from the airport?
Preveza-Aktion National Airport (PVK) is only 1.5 km from the marina. Taxi transfers are readily available and typically take 5-10 minutes.
What are the marina’s opening hours?
The Wet Berth reception of the marina operates from April 1st to October 31st. The Dry Berth reception, Technical Services Department and Chandlery operate year-round. Out-of-hours security and assistance are also available.
What documents are required before arrival?
We will need your boat registration papers, insurance, crew list, and passports or IDs for all persons on board.
How do I check in upon arriving at the marina?
Please contact marina reception via VHF (channel 67) or phone as you approach. Staff will assign you a berth and assist with mooring.
Is there car rental or taxi service available?
Several car rental agencies operate at the airport and nearby. Taxi services can be arranged by marina staff.
What local attractions can I visit from the marina?
The nearby town of Preveza is known for its historic center, restaurants, and beaches. The archaeological site of Nikopolis and the scenic Amvrakikos wetlands are also easily accessible.
Is the marina secure?
Cleopatra Marina features 24-hour manned security, access controls, and CCTV monitoring for your peace of mind.
Are pets allowed at the marina?
Yes, pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. Please clean up after your pets.
Can I receive mail or deliveries at the marina?
Yes, address deliveries to your name and boat, Cleopatra Marina, Aktio. Collect items from the marina office. There is also a parcel service provided from our Chandery.
Can I stay on board while my boat is on the hard?
Yes, please make sure to prior contact the Dry Berth reception, in order to fill the request form according to our policy.
