26 industry representatives from across Greece gathered in Preveza to discuss the future of marinas, yachting tourism, and sector growth.
On Friday, 24 April 2026, Preveza Marina had the honor of hosting the General Assembly of the Greek Marinas Association in the city of Preveza, at the Municipal Gallery “Yiannis Moralis”.
During the Assembly, participants reviewed the Association’s work, discussed the course of the sector, and examined future growth prospects. The agenda also highlighted the need to simplify procedures for the spatial planning and development of marinas, as well as the important role that the Greek Marinas Association can play by leveraging the expertise of its members and specialized advisors.

We were pleased to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Preveza, Mr. Leonidas Argyros, the Mayor of Aktio-Vonitsa, Mr. Athanasios Kasolas, who addressed the members of the Association. In their remarks, they highlighted the unique beauty and growing attractiveness of Preveza and the Ionian region as a premier destination for yachting tourism, while also acknowledging Preveza Marina’s contribution to strengthening the area’s appeal and supporting its development as a key hub for nautical tourism.
